#1: Visibility of system status

Rating: 0

I have always been a big Lowes customer since I was a young adult.  I like the simple website design.  The colors do not hurt my eyes and also allows the customer to rapidly navigate between different sections.  The ability to create and manage your account is perfect for returning customers.  Customers are helped by the information and ideas, which also keep them updated on new product discounts. Lowes makes sure that users understand the current condition of the system and that no action should be performed that might have an impact on them without first consulting them.

Improvements: N/A

#2: Match between system and the real world

Rating: 0

To advertise and notify its consumers about forthcoming or new products on sale, The Lowes  uses both visuals and text.  They connect your favorite categories and present the original pricing as well as the new discounted rates for the material or items. Lowes makes sure that consumers are able to comprehend meaning without having to search up a word's explanation. Never presume that their users' knowledge of terms or concepts corresponds to your own.

Improvements: N/A

#3: User control and freedom

Rating: 0

This component, in my opinion, is critical for a thriving and user-friendly website.   Lowes offers customers a convenient way to adjust their preferences, as well as the ability to swiftly correct errors or exit this menu. They allow the user to completely control what they see, as well as provide feedback on the products that are offered. Lowes made sure the escape was visible and well marked.

#4: Consistency and standards

Rating: 1

The consistency and standards help the customer look up their desired products.  However I feel this section can be better organized and become more user friendly.  I do enjoy that I am able to compare between multiple products.

Improvements: Add a few more filter options to navigate better.

#5: Error prevention

Rating: 0

During the checkout process, Lowes highlights and informs the user which categories are lacking information or do not utilize the necessary characters.  They give the user with straightforward and descriptive error messages.  While good error messages are vital, the finest designs take care to avoid issues in the first place.

Improvements: I don't think you should be forced to create an Account when buying items here.

#6: Recognition rather than recall

Rating: 0

Lowes provides the user to set reminders of upcoming news and deals for products.  They Provide contextual assistance rather than a lengthy instruction for consumers to memorize.  This is crucial to keep your audience interested in your products and services.

Improvements: N/A

#7: Flexibility and efficiency of use

Rating: 0

This online application is straightforward and easy to use for anyone who wants to browse their favorite tool brands within a few clicks. It offers accelerators such as keyboard shortcuts and touch gestures. Personalization is provided by adapting content and functionality to specific users. Allow for customization so that people may choose how they want the product to function.

#8: Aesthetic and minimalist design

Rating: 1

Aside from the ability to customize what material appears on your homepage, Lowes  provides users with little visual design tools. One function lets you choose between bright and dark modes based on the time of day.  Focus the UI's information and visual design on the fundamentals. Allow no extraneous items to distract consumers from the information they require. Prioritize the information and features that will help you achieve your major goals.

Improvements: Offer the everyday user more customization.

#9: Help users recognize, diagnose, and recover from errors

Rating: 0

Error messages should be written in straightforward English, describe the problem precisely, and constructively offer a remedy.  The system shows sections that will not operate throughout the checkout process.  If the user becomes confused, the system shows a brief error warning for each mistake.

Improvements:

#10: Help and documentation

Lowes provides an easy platform for consumers to solve their difficulties.
